Performer call out

o-region are on the lookout Cornwall based performers for a series of upcoming events in Autumn 2024.

We’re looking for an array of performers to work towards a series of community-based performance / sharings throughout October and November this year.

These performances will be directed by our Artistic Director Simon Harvey and be the culmination of our Cornwall wide From the Horse’s Mouth outreach project. Each event will feature original writing from a team of 15 established and emerging Cornwall based writers who have been working in our identified communities (Penzance, Redruth, Isles of Scilly, Launceston and Bude).

This project is part of a wider project which will culminate in our new midscale show WHITE HORSE taking place in Feb/ March 2025.

What are we looking for & what are the details?

We’re looking for ‘teams’ of approximately four performers to perform the specially curated selections of original work – in some instances this will be script in hand and in others, they will be off book.

We anticipate that each performance event will have one day of rehearsal and one performance sharing (two days total).

The fee is £150 per day plus travel (Note: in line with our environmental policy, we will be aiming to car share and use public transport where possible). Performers should be aged 18+.
