Winners announced – ROUGHCUT 60 second film challenge
In association with our friends at Screen Cornwall, Cornwall 365 and WTW Cinemas, we’re thrilled to announce the 2024 winners the 2024 ROUGHCUT 60 Second Film Challenge.
An amazing 65 shortlisted films were screened on Wednesday 27th March at the Plaza Cinema, Truro. The panel of judges deliberated over the decisions whilst the audience vote was cast and counted and the final winners were chosen:
• BEST FILM – ‘My Place’ by Owain Paciuszko
• BEST YOUNG PERSONS FILM (under 18s) – ‘Finding Home’ by Emilia Lawrence
• BEST CORNWALL BASED FILM – ‘Time to Go Home’ by Stacey Guthrie
• AUDIENCE AWARD – Joint award: ‘Man Cave’ by Emily and Craig Barr Green and ‘Couch Potatoes’ by Will Knight (voted for by the audience at our live screening event)
• HIGHLY COMMENDED AWARDS –
